Born and raised on the Cape in West Hyannisport and Osterville, Sam attended Ohio University where he earned a Bachelor Degree in English literature and a minor in history. Today he splits his time between these same villages and also Nantucket, where he owns a small cottage and fishes and surfs with his children, ages six and nine.
Having been brought up in a real estate family, Sam's experience is from the ground up, starting with rental management, including, yes, mowing lawns in his teens, to ultimately orchestrating the deveoplement and sale of complex land/subdivisions, a local marina for $10 million and a luxury condominium complex overlooking Nantucket Sound. Today he is involved in both residential brokerage and investment in bank owned and foreclosure properties.
His knowledge of Cape Cod's diverse villages and communites is extensive, ranging from the Historic areas of Sandwich and North Falmouth, to the artistic retreats of Wellfleet and Truro.
The astute buyer will appreciate Sam's casual style and blend of skills, combining extensive knowledge of the Cape and Nantucket, his investment/developement background and ability to discern value and the buyer's needs. Whereas most brokers say they will get back to a client with the answer to a questions, Sam will know it on the spot.
